SOURCE: after programming my new universal remote, the tv keeps changing chanels! wont stop!

you need to program your remote control. take the battaries out. and maually turn the tv on. then hit the source you want to view. for example, I want to control the tv set. I push, code search and hold it then push the source button and then release the source button and then release the code search button. now, aim at the tv and then keep pressing power button till it goes off. when the tv is off, hit return or set or something like that.( every remote has different calling for it but still the same function) it should work. try it and let me know.

I have an Orion Model TV2521. How do I turn on "closed caption" without the original remote? It broke and the tv is now using a universal remote. I tried the onscreen menu on the TV,but did not see an option to perform this task.

SOURCE: TV SCREEN GOES BLANK

Yes your inverter is bad, I have the same problem my set is about 1 and 1/4 years old. Because Olevia makes a terrible product there inverters are attached directly on to the panel, which means they will only sell the inverter along with the panel i.e $700+ to replace + $100 dollars labor if u don't know how to fix it ur self. I am currently searching to find the manufacture that makes the inverters because olevia will not disclose that information. I believe it is darfon, if so the inverter should cost about $150-200 depending. If you dont believe you can fix it ur self ur best bet is try and sell the set for scrap take ur $100 or so dollar and buy a quality product! Oh and dont call there support they will tell 10 different things before u find out this long for seen truth!

Losing sound momentarily

Are you using an HDMI cable and a digital box from your cable/sat company?

HDMI supports 2 different audio formats and when using a box from your provider sometimes the tv thinks the other format is available and switches to if for a few seconds.
Try using a HD component cable, they have Green, Blue, and Red video with Red and White audio, if the issue is your TV switching between formats this should fix it.
