Question about NBA 2K11 for ® for Xbox 360

Open Question

In association mode, it is not letting me start my 2nd season. I have completed all of the off season tasks. I "bought" all my points for the training camps, but when I select an action, it won't let me advance. If I select "schedule camps" (which I've already done), it takes me to the screen where you purchase the different camps, but says I have 0 rewards points available. If I select "advance past period", it ask me if I am sure I want to continue and will result in the end of the off season. It doesn't matter if I select yes or no for this screen, it will take me back to the off season menu. Obviously, if I select "cancel", it will take me back to the off season menu.

SOURCE: My NBA2k11 game for the

Unfortunately. this is actually not something you can fix. There are reports with this game that there is an bug that does not allow you to have more than one "profile' at a time.

some people have over a 1000 blocks and will not be able to save more than one player progress. What you will have to do is wait for a patch from 2ksports to be released or connect the wii to the internet and check to see if there is an available update. These reports go back as far as October of last year.

On the main screen nothing else shows up but the backup ground picture . nothing else will show up . what can i do

Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. If it isn't completely frozen, it should bring up the task manager. Open file -> new task (run). Type "explorer.exe" without the quotes and press enter. This should open the task bar.

If that doesn't work, hold the power button for 10 seconds to do a hard reboot and see if it boots past that the next time you load. If not hold the power button for another 10 seconds and press F8 while the computer is booting up to enter safe mode. If you can get into safe mode, use a restore point to go back to a date when it was working.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

My compaq mini 110 was infected with THINK POINT VIRUS. i downloaded a malware scanning program which seemingly worked for about a day...with an abundance of pop ups and self restarts. as i researched...

Hello
The re-installation of windows is however recommended, but you can try with follwing procedure to remove Think point Virus:-
1. Restart your computer in SafeMode - After Power-On the computer, just before Windows start, press F8 - From the selections, Select SafeMode
2. End ThinkPoint Process - Press Ctrl+Alt+Del from the keyboard to open Task Manager - Go to process Tab - Select 'hotfix.exe' and click on End Process - Close Task Manager
3. Remove Registry entries that the threat added. You MUST BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY FIRST. - Click Start > Run - Type in the field, regedit - Navigate and look for the registry entries mentioned above and delete if necessary
4. Delete malicious files that the threat added: - Base on the given location above, browse and delete the file - If no location is given, click Start>Search> and search for the files. - If cannot be deleted, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to access Task Manager, see if the file is running in the process. If it is, select the file and click End Process. Perform file delete again.
5. Scan computer with Antivirus Program - Update antivirus program - Scan computer and delete all detected threats.
Hope it will helps, if so do rate the solution
Good Luck

Removing the Dell AIO printer drivers you may have accidentally removed shared DLL's. This will often render the machine unstable and only allow it to boot into safe mode. What is more annoying re-installing those Dell AIO printer drivers probably will not resolve the issues. FIRST try to select a system restore point if you have this service turned on. Most do as this is a Default setting.
Absolutely a HUGE resource hog but can save your bacon is situations like this. :)

===== How to access System Restore =====
Use System Restore to undo changes you have made to your computer

There are two ways to access System Restore through Help and Support or through your All Programs folder.

Through Help and Support:

1.Click Start, and then click Help and Support.
2.Under Pick a Task, click Undo changes to your computer with System Restore.
3.Follow the instructions on the wizard. Through the All Programs menu:

1. Click Start.
2.Point to All Programs.
3.Point to Accessories.
4.Point to System Tools.
5.Click System Restore.
6.Follow the instructions on the wizard.
=================================
If this fails you can try to repair the current mess with the recover CD.
Excellent instructions here:

I do not recommend pirating software!
Spinrite is a top notch program and will repair many ailments associated with the hard drive. It can not and will not repair missing DLL's or deleted drivers.

Hope this helps!

When i turn it on it takes me to a black screen that says start windows normally or start in safe mode and stuff and i click start normally and it keeps taking me back to the same place no matter what i...

Please select last known good configuration from the black screen if this doesnt work select safemode from that screen and restore your computer to earlier time when it was working fine,. please follow the steps below to restore your computer.
Use System Restore After you've decided to use System Restore to revert your system to a previous state, start the System Restore Wizard and follow the prompts. To use the System Restore Wizard, make sure you're logged on as an administrator, and then follow these steps:
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.
On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.

Figure 2
4.
On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.
Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.
The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

After reviewing the stability of your system, you can choose another restore point or undo this restoration. Just open System Restore and make the appropriate choice. After you use System Restore, you'll have an additional task, Undo my last restoration, on the System Restore Welcome page. Remember that you'll have to reinstall any programs that were installed after the restore point.
If System Restore doesn't work in Normal Mode, it might work in Safe Mode. To use System Restore in Safe Mode, press the F8 key during reboot and choose Safe Mode. When your computer starts in either Safe Mode or Normal Mode, System Restore can be used to capture a working previous state. System Restore can't be opened unless the system is bootable into one of these modes.
arrow_px_up.gifTop of page Create Restore Points Manually Only application installations that use a System Restore restorept.api-compliant installer will trigger the creation of a restore point. So it's a good idea to create a restore point manually before you install an application that you suspect won't have one a restorept.api-compliant installer. For example, before installing a screensaver you've downloaded from the Internet or a beta program from a software vendor, you should manually create a restore point. For more information, see the TechNet article, Windows XP System Restore.
To manually create a restore point:
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome page, click Create a restore point.
3.
On the Create a Restore Point page, enter a descriptive name for your restore point, as shown in Figure 3, and then click Create.
sysrest3.jpg
Figure 3

The Restore Point Created page confirms that the new restore point has been created. I think it's a good idea to manually create a restore point before you download and install any application from the Internet.
arrow_px_up.gifTop of page Use Scheduled Tasks You can use Scheduled Tasks to create restore points at specified times. You might want to configure Scheduled Tasks to run System Restore at 6:00 P.M. daily, so that you always have a restore point available at the end of each working day.
To create a Scheduled Task, log on as an administrator, and then follow these steps:
1.
Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, click Scheduled Tasks, and then double-click Add Scheduled Task.
2.
Click Next on the first Scheduled Task Wizard page.
3.
On the second page, click System Restore in the list of applications, and then click Next.
4.
Continue through the wizard, specifying the days and times to run System Restore.
5.
When prompted, type in the user name and password for an administrator of the system, and then click Finish.

Scheduled Tasks starts each time you start Windows XP and runs in the background.
