My sony ericsson w580i is asking for a phone lock code when you switch the phone on ive tryed 8 zeros but it just said i have 9 tryes left i there a reset code or any thing else that i can try
Open up XS++
Then connect the phone while holding "C", afterwards use the GDFS opiton to read the code 
Make sure you have USB FLASH DRIVERS INSTALLED
HOLD "C"!!!!!
AND FIND USB FLASH DRIVERS HERE !
1. Powered off the phone
2. Taken the battery OUT.
3. waited 30 seconds to a minute,
4. started XS++
5. Clicked on Connect on XS++
4. HOLDING C button
5. Connected the USB Cable,
6. waited for some time, got message no phone detected.

You have to go to the store with your phone and with the person thats name is under the account and get a new sim card

Yes sure you can get the code which is actually being set right now, without loosing / damaging any data/contacts.. anything.
All you need is the USB Data Cable, which comes with the new phone.
IF you have one, no need to worry, just follow the steps described by one of out experts, here.
