Question about Netopia 3-D Reach (TER/GUSB-N1) (TERGUSBN1) 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
If you can connect to the network but not to the internet 90% of the time its something you need to call your internet supplyer for (not the router manufactor e.g Virgin, BT, Talk Talk.)

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can do so you can isolate whether the problem is with the router , the modem or your pc.
1. Disable / enable the wireless connectivity in your laptop.2. Restart the laptop. Then check if it is working. If not, go to the next step.
3. Restart your modem and router by unplugging the power cord on the back of the devices. Wait for the devices to load, then check if it is working. If not, proceed to the next step.
4. Try connecting your laptop to the modem directly by using an ethernet cable. If it did work, the problem is with the router. Its best to call the manufacturer of your wireless router if that's the case.
5. If step 5 still didnt work when you already connected your laptop directly to the modem, the problem is with the modem itself. Call your internet service provider and they'll do troubleshooting steps on their end too.
