Hi twintinktwo,
If your replacement fuse has an exact current ratings and yet immediately blew after an installation, this is an indication of shorted parts in the supply voltage line. Most likely it was caused by shorted output IC which is mounted in the heatsink. If your handy with electronics and have some necessary tools, pull-out this IC by deslodering it to the board and try the unit without this parts. If the fuse does not blew and finally the unit power up, you must replaced this IC and your unit will back to normal again.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

How do I replace the fuses?

You have to take the cover shell off and locate the fuse.. Its a main power fuse.. will be near where the power cord comes into the microwave.. while you are there look for burnt spots around the board and wires and door switches.. some thing made the fuse blow.. I had this problem a couple of microwaves ago.. it would happen every 3 months.. i bought a pack of fuses and taped them inside the shell so i would not have to go to radio shack everytime i needed one..I never did find what ws blowing the fuzes.. possibly the inverter??

I have a 2002 Toyoto that headlights, tailights and instrument lights went out

check fuzes then look for burned out taillights as the taillights are usually conected to the instument pannel, the manufacturer might have also included the headlights in the circut.

I can not find the cruse control fuse for my 1988 crysler newyorker the book i bought for it want tell me were it is eaither

Usually your fuzes are either under the drivers side kick panel, up under the dash or under the hood, it may also be running in line with another circuit, if you have anything else that isn't working, you CC may be in line with that. Visually inspect all your fuzes by pulling them out one at a time to make suer their all good.

Sonance ASAP1 2 channel amp/switcher keeps blowing fuses. I'm using the 1A-250V slow burn fuses like it states on the rear panel. I plug it in and it instantly blows the fuse.

If fuzes burn out at connection to computer , that necessary to check:
1 Presence of the earth between body PC and amplifier.
2 Levels of the signal at the input amplifier must be minimum.

Blowing fuzes

If the fuses blow before the remote voltage is applied, the power supply FETs or the reverse protection diode has likely failed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Burn fuses

Something inside is short-circuited. All components look fine thans to burned fuse. Don't try it anymore with new fuses. You need to get a repairman to check it out.
