Question about ViewSonic VA1912wb Monitor

1 Answer

My monitor measures18.5 inches across and 11.5 inches high. I don't knoe what model it is. After I turn on my monitor for a while the image turns fuzzy. I have tried to reset the image and adjust sharpness but it won't let me adjust the sharpness for some reason.

I searched around on the web and found somebody mentioning the power source. I live in south Florida and we do get power surges almost daily. It seemed too good to be true but I decided to try it so I unplugged my monitor from my surge protector and plugged it into another outlet and BAM!!!!!! Crystal clear and like brand new!

It must have been the surge protector.

So if you have a fuzzy monitor one thing you CAN TRY is to change the power source or outlet. It worked for me and saved me a few hundred dollars.

After updating graphics drivers, I don't know how to adjust scaling on my sell ST2321L monitor so the 1 inch black frame around the display is gone

Go to display setting on the monitor and adjust Horizontal and Vertical Positions

Use the icon-down.gifand icon-up-1.gif buttons to adjust image up / left and down / right. Minimum is '0' (-). Maximum is '100' (+).

Hello,
Make sure you have your resolution set to 1680 x 1050 as this is the native supported screen size for this LCD. Also check your graphic card's overscan or manual adjustment settings. They might be manually set to offset the screen picture.
Hope this helps,

I have a yellow tint across most of the page on my canon imagerunner c3200 color copier/printer. I don't see it on the first pages but it tends to appear after maybe 20+ pages Maybe related to the...

Bottom line is that your yellow drum is failing. Back ground is very common on this model with older drums. It is not related to temperature. Your best answer is to replace drum. Always make sure machine is turned off durning any drum (imaging unit) change. If the high cost is something you don't want jump into then. Always run very short runs until error code E0000020 apprears. The irC3200 series is without a doubt is predicable. If your going to have an imaging issue it will for sure apprear between 10-20 copiers. If your colour changes to a muddy yellow or brown smear than it will be a cleaning blade failure. These two replaces are easy to do. Good Luck.

Hello i have a 19 inch LG M197 WDP monitor/tv, when i switch it on the screen is white with a little gray bock that flashes and slowly moves across the top of the screen reading v3.02.0 which i presume is...

I also had an LG M197WDP tv/Monitor with the same problem. It comes straight on when plugged in, but with the blank screen and scrolling version number across the top.
The solution:
1. Use the remote control (check batteries first)
2. Point at the working TV and press either MENU or EXIT
3. Static should be seen on the screen.
4. Switch to standby using the remote, by preesing POWER button.
5. Switch back on using the POWER button.
All should then be working normally

It's an arcade that won't turn on,the tv screen just flashes ever five seconds.what can I try?

75% of the time or so, this means the power supply is bad (if you hear no audio). If you hear audio, just have no picture, then there is a problem with the monitor itself, or video board. The power supply will be the brick shaped box the power cord ends up connecting to in the back of the cabinet. BE CAREFUL INSIDE THE CABINET, THE MONITOR HOLDS A HIGH VOLTAGE CHARGE EVEN WHEN UNPLUGGED FROM THE WALL THAT WILL SEND YOU ACROSS THE ROOM IF YOU TOUCH THE BACK OF THE MONITOR TUBE! You don't even have to touch it, you can be grounded with 1 hand, and come within an inch, and it will jump up and bite you! If you have a multimeter, you can check the output voltages at the terminals of the power supply, they are screw down terminals that are labeled with the voltage they should be putting out.

Bright, thin line, in the middle of the screen, then...

1. I turn on the monitor, I hear a 'cracklin' sound
Reply: In a CRT Monitor there is a component called EHT which generates High voltage which is connected to the anode of the CRT, If there is any leakage due to moisture can cause this crackiling sound, You need to clean this high tension wire or replace the EHT ( CAUTION : BE AWARE OF HIGH VOLTAGES )

2. The screen only shows a bright, thin line.
Reply: The vertical Drive section of the monitor is faulty.

Blurring of images and text

mt, the 6 to 8 lines you were seeing were most likley the prelude to the end of the monitor. If the problem only occurs when the screen saver comes on then I could say the driver maybe being corrupted by a certain screensaver picture or program. When the monitor warms up to a certain temprature the electronics start to fail. You may want to turn off the monitor while your not right in front of it to cool it down and prolong its use.
