The batteries went dead and I replaced them with all new batteries and the Leapster still is not working? The games has not been damaged or dropped. We have only used it maybe a couple of times before it stopped working!! Can You please tell me where or how I can get this repaired? Thank you!!

u can switch off and on the game system and it hav a chance to work,or u can contact the shop were u buyed the game.they will guide u to repair it.check for warrenty too,if u are in warrenty period then u may contact the sevice people through that shop.

first you have to try to turn off the unit and disconnect all connections.. just leave the unit turn off for an hour (no power). and reinstall again the unit, then switch it ON...

call customer service 800-701-5327 they might be willing to replace it even after warranty has expired.

sir, does the old battery and the new battery are the same. it must be the battery got the problem or it might cause your gaming console disfunctioning. buying a new one is more practical than repairing the old one. hope that helps sir!

You can contact their support and they would be more than will to help you with the repairs. Although based on the prices of the device i would suggest buy a new one

You find a service fone number on user manual I can be more specific if you tell me where you are located.
Try first extracting batteries few times to ensure it is faulty.

- ensure also than new batteries are ok, on some device you need to use alkaline batteries.Aug 16, 2008
- about repairing your leapster, a leapster console is now sold at about $17, better buying a new one rather then repairing, you can keep old one as spare parts.Try first extracting batteries few times to ensure it is faulty.
