When exactly you lost the display?
Just right after turning on the computer? While working in Windows? Or every time you open a program or application?
If problem happened just right after turning on the computer, we have 2 point of failures: Monitor or the VGA CARD/MOBO Onboard.
To test your monitor. While computer and monitor is ON. Unplug the VGA cord at the back or the monitor and check if you will see a box moving across the screen says monitor self test.
If no display replace monitor.
It monitor self test passed. Connect computer to a different monitor and if problem persist then update the video card driver or the motherboard chipset. If all fails then you have to replace your video card or motherboard.
Pls do consider replacing the VGA cord as well.
Hope this helps.
