Hi your problem is that you should set the connection to internet
Dell Dimension 4550 (Pentium 4 2.66GHz, 256MB RAM, 60GB HDD, XP Home)
first you need to go to:
control panel>system>device manager>check if appears the ethernet car if it does then.
go to control panel>network conection>properties>select tcp/ip go to properties check and make sure the option of automatic ip and the automatic dns select it and you are ready....
