Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
There seems some problem with my system(using windows xp sp-2).Whenever I start it up a message flashes saying -"cant run 16-bit windows application-insufficient memory to run this application...".
I am not able to open the registry editor.
Even the task manager is not opening(infact it is opening but closes down in a fraction of second.).
I am unable to locate some applications(some games and photoshop).
Is it ....some sort of ....virus?
can I fix it?
Hi, Yes, you are right !, your system is infected with a serious virus and you cannot use your computer unless you remove the visus.
This problem happens when there is no updated antivirus running.
To fix it, download/ aquire MacAfee antivirus and its latest update.
Boot the system to safe mode, and install the macAfee and update. Run the scanner and remove the virus.
Try and let me know if its not succeeded.
