My plasma will not come on only the standby light is on

There could be a problem on the power supply section of your television. Such system never comes on when it senses that there is a defective component on your system. A qualified electronic service technician will resolve you problem on site.

My pioneer plasma tv in standby mode and wont turn on


Try restting it by unplugging the tv for a few mins and it should rest to original factory default settings but leave it unplugged 10-15 mins to be sure.

You might have a bad B board. What's worse is that the power switch is connected to the Q board which works in conjunction with the B board. Replace B board, You can send your B board for repair to a company called modus link pts. They are the largest part supplier of after market parts and repair.

If you have a power cut when tv is on - it shuts down for safety - leave it for 1 hr or overnight - then it works!! I have a UPS as our power here in Mozambique always goes out
