I would suggest unplugging the power to the modem and router, plugging the power into the modem back first, then your router. If this does not solve your issue, try bypassing the router and using just the modem. If the problem keeps happening without the router then there is an issue with your internet service and you should contact your ISP. If you find that this just happens only with your router, then there could be a number of reasons why this is happening. Try resetting the settings on your router by using a paperclip or pin in the back. You will need to configure your security and other settings if you do this so beware. Hope this helps!

CDX-GT4301P sony car radio loses station/settings memory intermittently.

At the back of the head unit, there are usually two power connections to the car battery live. One is via the ignition, and the other is (usually) a fused connection that connects directly to a relay or fuse that has constant power, even when the car is switched off. This constant power allows your head unit to hold its memory. If the loss of memory is intermittent, it could be a loose cable or corrosion on the fuse.

My router constantly disconnects. It used to work fine in my room, and now it literally cannot stay connected for a consistent 5 minutes (at best). I haven't changed my computer's location, the router has...

Try connecting an ethernet cable from your computer/laptop to one of the lan ports on the router.

If your connection is still intermittent then replace your router. If your connection is stable then replace your antenna.

They do sell replacement antennas at radio shack or best buys.

Let me know how it goes.

Intermittent connection to wireless network

Two possibilities to consider --

There are reports the combination of a hidden SSID and WEP/WPA encryption causes intermittent connections using Windows. Recommended solution to show the SSID instead of hiding it.

Second possibility consider changing the channel the wireless communicates on in the router from the often default 6 to 1 or 11 to see if you can avoid interference on channel 6. Try the other channel if the first does not work. Interference is not only from routers but can be from in house wireless phones and other devices.
