  • Sounds like your AC system is out of refrigerant. You have a couple options.
  • You can get a can of R134 from the parts store and try to give your system a charge. This might get you through the summer.
  • You may have to go to a shop and have them put your AC system under a vacuum and then charge your AC system.
  • An AC system is a sealed system and well never blow warm air unless a leak develops. So be advised any charge you give your AC system is only temporary until a dye is put into the system and the leak is found and fixed.

They are right. It is difficult to find a bad or loose connection When the compressor is not cooling, open the hood and start moving the ac wires. You might be able to find it yourself.

Groaning Noise While AC is on

this sounds like the AC compressor is failing, the engine idles slower in drive so noise is more apparent. you are likely going to need to replace it soon.

AIR CONDITIONER CUTS OUT

there is a point in operating temperature where the engine computer will cut the a/c compressor clutch to assist in avoiding overheating. When you go through another key cycle, this computer re-evaluates the temperature and allows a/c clutch operation once again if temperature is within operating range
