2007 suzuki forenza a/c stop throwing cold air comprsor is still working

some times.
ok when id dont blow, cold
is the compressor main shaft spinning and engine rpm over 750 RPM
the pully spinning means nothing,, it does that all time running.

only 2 possibles. (maybe 3)
engine does not reach, 200F and hold. coolant temp.
or
the heater lever is not going to the heating position.
or the duct is blocked by leaves in the front cowl.

The Hazards and flashers both work off the same "combination relay, it is defective, replace it.

Possible problem is expansion valve freezes up, the compressor is failing or air conditioning electrical problem

They are right. It is difficult to find a bad or loose connection When the compressor is not cooling, open the hood and start moving the ac wires. You might be able to find it yourself.

this sounds like the AC compressor is failing, the engine idles slower in drive so noise is more apparent. you are likely going to need to replace it soon.

there is a point in operating temperature where the engine computer will cut the a/c compressor clutch to assist in avoiding overheating. When you go through another key cycle,this computer re-evaluates the temperature and allows a/c clutch operation once again if temperature is within operating range

replace the dimmer switch for the headlights.
