I have had this happen as well. There are many computers in my house and I have a cd burner with a blank CD-R laying around. If you have access to all this then this will work: http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

If not, try admin and leave the password blank. Hope this helps!

I WANT TO LOG IN TOSHIBA TECRA 550CDT BUT I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD

start your computer in "safe mode" :

  1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.

Click the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, click the arrow next to the Lock button eb058ccf-b21e-4dfe-9bb7-1ad6c83b705c.png, and then click Restart.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you will need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.

    • If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to highlight the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

  3. On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the safe mode option you want, and then press ENTER. For more information about options, see Advanced startup options (including safe mode).

  4. Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.

Depending on you operating system i.e. windows XP, 7 etc. you may not have a "lock" button described in STEP 1, just restart while holding down F8, once you are in safe mode you can go in to Administrator or any other account and reset your password

I forgot my bios password could you help me SerTag #F6KG1G1-595B

Hello,
There is actually no easy fix about this issue. Not even a possible way of bypassing the BIOS password. Normally re-flashing the BIOS software should fix it but it is done by the manufacturer and thus these kind of problems are normally tagged or considered tampering.
