Pressing the F8 key repeatedly as the notebook powers up should get you into the Windows Advanced Options Menu. You would then use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to select safe mode and then press the Enter key to start it.

Locked keybroad toshiba satellite C660

Try booting in safe mode and see if the keyboard is locked. Maybe the keyboard is bad.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.

My toshiba satellite M645-S4045 doesn't want load up the system! How can I turn it on in the safe mode?

To access safe mode in Windows: From a completely powered down state, turn on the computer. At the Toshiba splash screen, start tapping the F8 key (top row of your keyboard). This will load a menu selection that has safe mode. Use the arrow key to highlight safe mode and then hit return. A mess of text will load on the screen and then a few moments later the computer should ask you to confirm you want safe mode.

I hope this helps
