Before any test clean the seal around the door and refrigerator with warm soap and water.

you may have a seal problem, check around the door, make sure the seal is intact. check for tears,

liquid, a pinched seal. take a sheet of paper and put it in between the door and refrigerator while

holding the door closed. check all around the door, if you can pull the sheet out without any

hesitation that's where your seal is broken. good luck!

hi, Lets do some simple things that you can do EZ.
1. Unplug keep doors closed.
2. Pull out fridge be careful of the water supply line for ice maker.
3. Remove the cardboard or metal back panel.
you will be able to access the fan and you will need to vac all the dirt and clean the fan blades with degreaser
Shoot WD 40 on fan shaft and rear of fan motor.
Vac and clean the cooling line grid on the back of fridge.
4. If it is still nosey defrost it unplug 12 hrs clean drip pan under fridge and M/T. Plug in and let it get cool. This will de-ice the crossovers.

Can i turn the freezer part of my fridge of so i can defrost the bottom part n leave the top part on , i have a zanussi electrolux

no your model is a single compressor which runs both frdge and freezer.. freezer is supposed to be frost free however freezing elements can be overwhelmed with frost if door has been left open. there is a drain hole behind the back panel of the freezer that can block or freeze up causing water to flow in tp the freezer and turn to ice. complete defrost and check that drain hole is clear to fix it.

Frdge not getting cold

Since your unit will have only one compressor, the cooled air must be circulated via a fan that distributes the air between the two compartments and this has probably died. This allows the cooled air to simply fall downward. When you can hear the compressor running, hold your fingers in front of the vents in the refrigerator compartment to see if you can feel any air stream.

My frdge compartment is freezing

I really need more information. Like exact model number of said refrigerator. Here are some good tips. There may be a vent that leads to the freezer, if so close it. Second question is place a thermoeter on the top shelf in a glass of water for 4 hours, what is the temp. Do the same thing on the shelf that is freexing. If the tempatrues are equal turn up the tempature again. If not the circulation in the compartment is blocked. Make sure the the back of the carptmen has a gap to let air circulate vertically. Modern refriderators use air circulation to help reduce energy costs from compressors overworking.
Thanks PJ
