System restore won't do it. If it is only some keys not working and others are, unless you've added some shortcut keys it sounds more like a problem with the keyboard itself and would have to be replaced. Sometimes it maybe dust or grit that is under a key/s and the key isn't fully compressing and making contact. You can carefully blow it out lightly and check for hair- human or pet hair can also mess up the contact.

If you happened to spill something on the keyboard that would wreck the keyboard too....

I have a Toshiba satelite laptop that runs slow and says that it is neary full. I need to free some some space but do not know what to delete. Everything on it seams to relate to microsoft.

You may have installed every softwares on your System Drive (typically C:/, where the OS is installed). Try to install them on other partitions, this will free up some spaces.

You may try with Disk Cleanup utility. To use it go to: Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Disk CleanUp. This will ask you which of the disk to be cleaned up. Select the desired System Drive Letter and click on OK. You may delete Windows Error reporting files, System error memory dump files from there. You can also delete older restore points by clicking on Clean Up System Files. Select System drive letter as before and click on more options. Under System Restore and shadow copies click clean up. This will remove all but the latest restore point.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay

The sound is too low on my L515 Satelite

The speaker might be broken... butr there can be multiple volume controls: one from the keyboard (function key blue?) the general windows one and the one of the application. If you watch dvd use the VLC player, this player can do the sound more than 100%, this is sometimes a good solution for some movies. Good luck!

Certain keys are not working like h f g all on the same row

hi,

try to do a system restore gong back to the time that its properly working, that's the way for you to be able to isolate if its a software or the hardware itself. Once youre done doing system restore and the keys are still not working, that means that the problem is with the hardware itself, most computer manufacturer usually replaced the whole keyboard of the laptop since there is no part no or available part for just a particular key on the keyboard.

Hope this will help... Please rate...

Hi,toshiba satelite pro L20 beeps when start up

Run check disk for hard drive errors. I recommend immediately backing up all your data that you can, wiping it, and reinstalling your programs. The rebooting problem smells like a bad hard drive. I just went through it with a Compaq at work.
