Hello,

your question is not clear enough. Do you mean "How to connect VCR to your TV?" If yes, then the below solution is the answer to your question. But if that's not your question, please rephrase your question for proper and accurate solution.

Connecting the VCR to a TV is not a big deal. There are two methods by which you can connect the VCR to our TV.

1. You can use a RF cord.
2. You can use a RCA cord.

I would suggest you use the RCA cord because the RCA connection has a better sound and display quality than the RF. So I would direct you on how to use the RCA connection method.

Here is a picture of what the RCA cord looks like for quick identification;

How To Connect A VCR - elect_comp_3.jpg

As you can see from the above picture that there are three cords. The Yellow cord is for display (video), while the with and red is for sound (audio Left & Right).

Turn of the VCR and the TV.

Look at the back of the VCR, connect the yellow to 'video out' and the white and red to 'audio out'. Note that the VCR might have only one audio out, that doesn't matter, just connect any of the red and white.

Now connect the other end of the cord to the back of the TV this way; Yellow will go to 'Video in' while the red & white will go to 'Audio in'.

Turn on the TV and VCR.

Select the TV to Source/AV and the display of the VCR should appear on the TV. Or better still, you can insert a cassette into the VCR, press play before selecting Source/AV on the TV.

By now the connection should be Okay.

If you any more questions or clarifications, please let me know as I would be glad to respond.....

Yours sincerely.

Elect_Comp.

WHAT IS THE CORRECT WAY TO SET-UP TV, VCR, DVD, & DIGITAL CONVERTER BOX?

Connect the antenna to the converter box. Connect the output of the converter box to the vcr. Connect the output of the vcr to the tv. Connect the dvd to the component input (Red-White-Yellow) of the tv (if there is one. If not then connect the dvd to the component input of the vcr.
With this arrangement you will be able to tape programs on the vcr if you want. If the vcr is not on the signal from the converter box will pass through to the tv.

VCR MANUAL

Easiest way to connect is with a scart connector from VCR to TV, then just select AV1 from TV (this will depend on what type if TV you have). If you dont have scart, put your aerial into the rear input of VCR, take supplied flylead & connect that from rear output of VCR & connect other end into TVs aerial socket. Insert a pre-recorded tape, press play on VCR & then on TV select channel 0 & tune your TV until the play back picture appears, then store this on TV tuning settings.

How do I hook up a daewood vcr to a TV through a Direct TV

If you are trying to connect a VCR to your television and still have Directv, this is the way to do it. Disconnect your Directv receiver from your television, Then connect the VCR to the television either through coax or RCA cables. If using the coax cable connect the out to tv on the VCR to the television. If using RCA cables connect the RCA OUT to the television AV1 connection. Once that is done, connect tha Directv receiver to the VCR using either coax or RCA cables. the Directv receiver only has RCA outputs so, if using RCA cables connect to VCR in. Remember that in order to see the Directv the VCR needs to remain on and it must be on the channel line in. If using coax cable connect to the VCR where it says in from antenna. Remember that if using this method your VRC does not have th remain on to view Direct. If you're trying to record Directv, then your VCR need to be on the same channel as the Directv output channel either channel 3 or 4. If trying to record Directv using RCA connections the VCR needs to be on the AV settings. If you have any futher questions please feel free to call me at (361)510-0339

Magnavox DVD/VCR Dual

Usually a cable box has a RF (antenna connect) IN (from the external signal) OUT (cable going to the TV_RF in)
Usually one has to place TV_channel on 3 or 6 (my TV ch. 60).
EXTERNAL signal goes in CABLE box RF_in, CABLE box RF_out to the TV (RF_in).
In order to connect DVD/VCR, [IN LINE with cable & TV] just connect the RF_out from CABLE BOX into the RF_in of the DVD/VCR, RF_out of DVD/VCR to the TV RF_in.

Sharp vcr problem

The way to connect them is as follows:
1. Connect the cable from the wall to the cable input on the cable box.
2. Connect the cable box RF output to VCR RF input (VCR must be on channel 3).
3. Connect the RF output from the VCR to the RF input on your TV (TV must be on channel 3).
After all the connections are done, leave the VCR and TV on channel 3 and use the cable box to select the channel you want to record programs from.
Good Luck.
