The easiest way to do this is call a TV Repair shop, and inquire about the part. They should be able to give you the replacement flyback number, since they get updates on tv sets all the time.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

You have a shorted Horizontal Output transistor and a bad capacitor or two. Look for a bad resistor and you may have a bad flyback transformer [rare]. But yes the transistor is down!

Set wont turn on

^.^ hi..
I see that your TV's high voltage flyback is leaking out.
or the flyback cap to the CRT aka picturetube is dirty, or it has a open insulation.
(Warning: Flybacks are extremely dangerous, it has a high voltage that kills. becareful.)

I have a zenithZ remote control and i need to kni=ow if it will work on my rca television

if you have this zenith remote the ZN110. then yes it should work your RCA TV. but no one knows the codes or how to program it. so i suggest for you to try and get your original remote that goes with your tv. find the model number of your tv and go to www.replacementremotes.com and search for it. then they will bring up your original remote, if your original is no longer available then they will show you a compatible replacement.
