After you have unplugged the fan and removed the front meshguard, please turn the knob clockwise.

Looking for replacement parts for Windchaser fan

You can take plumbers tape and wrap about 5 to 8 turns around the shaft threads and put blade on and cap. (Plumbers tape is white plastic tape on a roll with a pop off cap like medical tape comes in)

Remote? Maybe batteries.

How do i take of the fan from a paslode im350+ gun ?

1) Remove the 4 bolts at the head, remove filter cap
2) Remove 2 bolts at nose holding the front assembly to the handle
3) Carefully pull the nose out and down to separate the cylinder and handle.
4) Remove fan blade - there is a very small torx screw on the fan blade
5) Remove the 3 screws holding the fan motor in and pull the motor straight out
Inside the cylinder head where the fan motor sits is a plastic spacer - if your fan kit does not come with a new one don't forget to take it out and reinstall it in the new head.

Got front of fan off but can't get the fins off to clean the fan. How do I do that. I have pulled them but they won't come off.

The cap holding the fan blades on should twist off. It should turn counter-clockwise to remove the cap and clock-wise to to put it back on.

The fan on the asus videocard does not work.

Hello Teerosy, hi, your asus videocard fan is dirty, there is a sticker that covers the fan, remove the sticker, then a circular cap under the sticker, remove it also, this reveals a shaft, drop a small amount of oil inside the shaft of the fan, and turn the fan blades manually to loosen the dirt. A spray of wd40 would also do the trick. replace the circular cap and the sticker back again.

Buzzing fan on a Marshall mg 100 head

Try to remove the fan and look for the sticker on the back side where the wires come out.

Remove the sticker, underneath it there will be a small aluminium cap (sometimes there is no cap and the axis is readily visible when you remove the sticker).

Take the cap off with a sharp tool (it shouldn't require a lot of force to do it), now you should be able to see the fan axis being held in place by a small clamp - put a drop or two of machine oil in there, move the fan blades a little to make the oil flow past the axis into the bearing.

Reinstall the cap, put the sticker back in place, reinstall the fan and test it.

Sometimes this will make things better, but if it doesn't then it is only fair to replace the fan.

Cleaning

not sure of the lasko brand but some fans have a cap over the center of the blades that must be unscrewed to remove the blades.( the motor shaft has threads on the end of it ).
some older models actually have the blades that unscrew opposite of turning direction, and you have to find a way to grip the motor shaft and unscrew the blades........
hope this helps.............jay

Removing ceiling fan blades

Wait? Why would you want to remove the blade? Are they broken? Is the fan unbalanced? Try cleaning the blade. If the fan still wobbles, try tightening the screws. If the fan still wobbles, Unscrew the blade and unconnect the blade from blade iron. Buy the new blade iron. If the blade is broken, Also buy the new blade.
