Right, you need to click
Then find a file called Setup, there may be several. You are looking for the one which is an Application. Mine is around 450kb in size.
Double click it to correctly install the Wireless adapter.
Follow the instructions on screen. This should take no more than 90 seconds from start to finish.

Somewhere on your computer's keyboard, you have a 'fn' key. Usually, this key is in the lower left corner of the keyboard. This key will need to be depressed simultaneously with another key on the keyboard that should have two pictures of monitors seperated by a '/' mark.
When you depress these two keys simultaneously, the computer switches from the output on the laptop screen to the output on the vga port.
Additionally, you will have to configure your TV to receive the signal from the svga port. Different TV's do this diffrerently, so I'm not sure exactly how you need to do it on yours.
Lastly, the sound does not follow this connection. So, while you are enjoying the use of the TV screen for viewing whatever on your laptop, if you are watching a movie or similar activity, you will not hear very much. Laptops are not designed to fill a room with sound.

First try connection the Yellow ethernet cable from the rca modem to your computer's network connection. If you get a connection this way, then your modem will work with a ethernet cable. If not, then call Comcast for help. The modem ethernet out to computer port must be connected to the wan line of the router. Then you can connect an ethernet cable from your computer network connection to one of the 4 ports of the router. For wireless connections you must set up the router and wireless adaptor with the same settings to connect. Follow the routers directions.
