Kitchenaid coffee maker has sat for a long time with no use!

Generally, I'd start with one part white vinegar to three or four parts water. You may need to run it throught the machine a few times if it's badly blocked

A wire brush will clean it, it's only coffee. Chuck it in a glass of Coca Cola overnight.

KitchenAid coffee maker KCM5340B0 - 1100w - 14 cup. How do I change the clock. Can't find my booklet. Thanks

There are two small buttons in the bezel below the clock display. These are the hour and minute adjust buttons. Press the clock button, the display flashes, then you press the hour and minute buttons until the time is correct, and then press the clock button again.

Err2 is a failed heating element. There is no fix or replacement parts sold. I was lucky I had a receipt, even out of the year warranty they(KitchenAid) are still replacing it.

Kitchenaid coffee maker giving me error 2

Suggestion was Descaling the Coffee Maker from KitchenAid Phoebe (I'm guessing customer support)

http://kitchenaidconversations.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14441&SearchTerms=err+2

Cleaning scale from coffee maker DO NOT USE THAT MUCH VINEGAR! Put a tiny bit of vinegar in the carafe and fill carafe the rest of the way with water. Run that vinegar/water through machine. Using another container, fill machine with plain water and run that through. Repeat until the vinegar taste is gone. If you do not run lots of plain water through the machine after, your coffee will taste like...um...disgusting!
**************
To clean hard water deposits from a coffeemaker use distilled white vinager. You may need to use as much as a gallon if the scale buildup is really bad. Fill clean coffee pot one half full of vinager and run through machine as if making coffee. Repeat this process several times using fresh vinager until it comes out clear. Do this once a week and your maker will work much better.

ERR 4 simply indicates that the computer is recognizing a stuck button (a button have been depressed for more than 10 seconds time). Please double check to make sure that no buttons are still depressed into the machine.
