Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
The 1083 has been unplugged for a long time until I discovered I could run 60# throught it the long way without jam ups, but no if you push that you want 5 copies it only prints 1 it does count down from 5 but you have to push the button every time, is there a code to reset the machine back to factory defaults?
Minolta normally use the following code to get into the service mode so you can reset back to defaults. Be warned you can damage the machine further by doing this.
1. Press the Utility/Counter key.
2. Touch [Details] on Meter Count display.
3. Press the following keys in this order.
Stop → 0 → 0 → Stop → 0 → 1
This all depends on age of machine.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
