Question about Vivitar ViviCam 8025 Digital Camera

My camera is saying card protected.So when it says that i can't take or delete pictures.So how can i take that off?

SD card have a switch on the side for write protection. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

My camera says memory card protected how do i take this off


Eject memory card and flip the white switch. If that doesn't fix problem some cameras can add accidental deletion protection which first needs to be disabled

Why is card protected


There is a small slider on the side of the card to enable write protection - you have probably inadvertently slid this to the "write protect" position. It should be in the position shown in the pic to allow writes.

Hi Look at your memory card! You may have accidently caught the small slider on the card that has locked the card, Just unlock it will be fine! Hope this helps!

I can't download because it says my card is


For some reason the lock switch is engaged on your memory card and the card is write-protected (like the diskettes in old days). Release it and you'll be able to delete the pictures.

Memory card is protected


Move the slide switch on the side of the memory card to the unlocked position.
