You can check or updates on the driver, also, check in the audio options, sometimes the audio device is disabled from there even after installing the driver. How to do so depends on your Operative System, but if you have the speaker icon on your tray you can right-click it and select the "playback devices" or "recording devices" depending on which is not working. Click on the device that seems to be disabled and click the "Properties" button. Somewhere in that window (usually in the lower area) there will be a drop-down menu that has the options of "use this device (enable)" or "Don't use this device (disabled)" pick the first to enable the device that is not working.

Gateway 3501643 profile 4 network card not reinstalling

Usually, the networking hardware is the easiest to set up for drivers. If you know the chipset maker and model, you should be able to go to the maker's website and get drivers. If not, and you don't want to open the case to look, then go to http://www.belarc.com and get the advisor utility, it's free. It should identify your hardware and you can do a google search from there.

The drivers for the hardware don't exist for windows 8. You need to format. turn on holding the 0 key. follow steps to set to factory defaults, save your pictures and documents first cause this will erase them.

My problem is the same as the rest of these, My T9100 has lost the driver for the Yamaha AC-GX sound device. It worked find until I installed XP SP2, I've been to various forums and followed...

The 9100 series are famous for this problem, and it's more than likely hardware related and not driver related: the connector on the motherboard (where the sound card connects to) is probably loose - so it's not seeing the sound card (or only seeing part of it). Problem is probably caused by chassis flex over the years, and it's pretty common.

Solutons? Dunno... I've fixed about a thousand of these but over the years, about 1 out of 5 had the same problem recur, and I'm tired of fixing these things. Cheapest workaround? Get a cheap USB sound card and a cheap set of laptop speakers (cost me about $4 total) - a little cumbersome, but it don't cost anything....

I have a problem with my computer speakers because they don't work & i've even tried to to use headphones & even they won't work so what should i do

It sounds like it may be a driver issue, but first, I'm assuming you check the volume controls on Windows to make sure it wasn't muted or anything. Yeah? Good. So let's get to the drivers. I actually have a tip here that will show you how to do this. Check it out: http://www.fixya.com/support/r9307246-fix_sound_installing_new_driver Hope this helps!

No sound

You have to install the audio device drivers for the audio device to work. In case you don't have the installation cd here is a link for direct download from the official site. Choose your op. system (win XP, win 7 etc) and proceed to download and run the proper file.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

I cant install my sound driver.. conexant just says not reconized and the other one just dissapear mid-installed

Usually, this means it's not even recognizing that it's on board. Easiest thing i can tell you is go to control panel - system - device drivers - go down to sound, modem, and delete the entries. Then re-start your system. See if windows finds the hardware. If it does, then install using your cd. Don't let windows install it. Just close those boxes. Many sound issues are modem related. Most modems require the sound card and that's usually the issue.
