Question about Computers & Internet
This is an issue I had with my laptop. The problem was that the battery had gone dead after a year which was covered under warranty. The solution I found was to remove the battery and reinsert. leaving it unplugged for a ten count or so to let the power discharge from the circuits. If that doesn' t work you might have to buy a power supply(power cord) because it's dead. Windows will probably have to be installed because it lost the image on the drive. One more thing is to take the memory out and then put it back in a few times to make the metal contacts on the cards get a clean metal to metal contact. Other wise if installing Windows isn' t for you, have a tech look at it, it might just cost you $75 - 90.00 to fix.

Try and go into safe mode and select system restore. To get into safe mode press F8 before as the computer begins to boot. When you get to safe mode press start and then select program files and select accerioes, under that heading select system tools and click on system restore. Follow instructions and select 2 days or the lastest restore point in order to restore system back to it's original state.
If you cannot reboot at all to safe mode, you will require to restore the system or reinstall windows using you xp, vista or recovery disks for laptop. Good Luck!
