Question about Car Audio & Video

I have a 77 Olds Toronado and bought a new radio for it which is supposed to be an exact replacement. I need to know how to get the old one out. Where can I get instructions?

This is close and I'm pretty sure the wood grained plastic panel surrounding the radio area is removable but there are no screws or other fasteners visible to loosen. I'm thinking that removing the radio knobs and the nut underneath them might be what is holding the plastic panel in place. I'm going to try removing those nuts and see it the panel comes or can be pried loose.

Agree with you. I could bet that this is the right way to resolve this issue. Unfortunately the data on your vehicle is fairly limited, the locks are often hidden under the moldings and in other cases, moldings just fixing teeth that are part of the frame and entering with a few hold.

91 olds toronado won't start battery has full charge.key may need programmed?

Only reprogram if you know it needs programming otherwise you are wasting your money. Take the key to a main dealer and ask them if the programming is still working as you are having trouble starting your car.

They should be able to tell you if it needs programming or not.

Rear shocks have inflated fully and will not go back down

it would be cheaper to replace the shocks with the same as you have on the car now. otherwise you have to have other things done to the car to make new different shocks workfor the car
