How to attach zipper foot on singer inspiration

Here is a copy of your manual.

Most modern machines have snap off and snap on feet. Grasp the foot that is on there and push down. Then while lowering the foot, align the little bar on the zipper foot and watch it snap in. Easy.

Walking foot on my brother cs6000i

There are TWO places this foot attaches to the machine. It "hooks" onto the left side of the presser foot holder, and there's another part on the right side that should attach up higher (as shown in the instructions). If you forget about that second one, it gets stuck and does exactly what you described.

Have just been given the Toshiba Hard Drive PX1396U-3T01, number 2978109s. No install instructions, or paperwork. He is now overseas. How do I install the HD, or get a driver?

Your Toshiba PX1396U-3T01 external HDD is USB-attached, so you'll need to acquire a
standard USB cable to accomplish the physical layer attachment. USB cables do not have
the same connector at each end - the system (computer) end has a USB "A" connector (flat-shaped), and the device end (HDD) has a USB "B" connector (square-ish shaped).

There is no software (driver) needed for this external HDD - support for USB-attached external
drives (either HDD or flash drives) is built into WinXP, WinVista and Win7.

IF your version of MSwindows doesn't want to recognize the Toshiba when you plug it in, try
START > Run > then type in "diskmgmt.msc"

then select the command "Rescan disks."

If you're running Mac OS or Linux, repost including your OS (operating system) info.

I used a slim jim to unlock my door and now it can't be unlocked using the key. I read that the lock rods may be detached but I can't figure out how they were attached to begin with. What do I do?

If you've taken the door panel off, you should be able to find the lock rod just tangling in the door freely. There are a couple of different ways it could attach depending on what kind of car your working on.
  • The end of rod could be straight with a threaded end. There would be a plastic clip on the lock that would snap around the threaded end to hold it in place.
  • If the end of the lock rod is L shaped then the plastic clip on the lock would have a hole in the center of it. Insert the L shaped end into the hole and then the plastic clip will have a tail that will swivel around and clip onto the lock rod to lock it into place.
  • There's also a chance you could have broken the plastic clip with your slim jim and it's laying in the bottom of the door. In that case you would have to get a new clip.

What kind of car is this?

I cant figure out how to install the handlebar. The owners manual is beyond confusing.

Go to my tips and tricks page. There are links to Huffy's website with on-line assembly instructions and detailed owners manuals.

The handlebars like in this picture attach to a stem (turkey neck shaped thing). There should be an end with a loop and an end with a shaft. The loop end clamps around the handlebar bottom. Just tighten the screw/ screws. The shaft end will have a long bolt and a wedge. The wedge has to be loose but attached to the long bolt. Insert into the hole in the frame, past the limit line and tighten the bolt. Thats it.

The base has lost its stickiness and no longer holds the velcro pad that you attach the sandpaper to.

I had same problem. Go to the hardware store and buy some Velcro strips. One side has adhesive, just put that side on the mouse. I had to put several strips on then cut around the shape of the mouse. Sandpaper for the mouse sticks to it great. Just be careful when pulling the used sandpaper back off that you don't tear off the Velcro. I threw that little pad away that was originally on the mouse.

How to attach sand paper to the Kirby Turbo Sander attachment?

There is a plastic guard around the edges that comes off. Then, there are clamps that hold each end of the sandpaper. If you can't see the clips, then the guard is still on and needs to be removed. Hope this helps...
