Question about Verbatim 95210 Mouse

Open Question

My Verbatim rechargable wireless laser mouse (96150) doesnt work properly. It moves, clicks (both right and left work) fine, but if I hold down the left and right button for about 3-4 seconds, the mouse will stop working as if it just died. To get it to work again, I just have to re-connect the mouse (press the button on the USB, and the button under the mouse). I tried changing the batteries, but it still does the same thing.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: verbatim mouse 96150 is not working new battery

What I do to make it work on my xp, vista, or w7 computers is to first plug in the usb device then push the button on the device and move the mouse. if that doesn't work, then I open the battery case and remove one of the batteries (with batteries closest to you, the one on the right has the positive + terminal closest to you). Now when I move my mouse it works every time (if the batteries are charged)

How do I update my wireless mouse?

try updating the mouse drivers. Go to the Verbatim manufacturer website, search your model of mouse and download the latest driver. To update drivers on windows go Control panel>device manager>mice/input device then right click your mouse and update driver software. If the mouse continues to play up even though it works on other computers then the mouse is probably incompatible with your operating system.

Okay so my right button isn't working properly i have to hold it down for a while for it to register the right click, I really need help, thank you

The only cause I can think of is a weak battery. If this is not the case, then the mouse could have a bad or dirty contact under the right button.
If you can scroll and the left button works well, I'd lean toward the dirty contacts.

Magnifier doesn't work

Try going to Control Panel and click on the mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse. In the left column, move your cursor over the right side button click on the drop down and select magnify. Hopefully it will now work.

I had to move the magnify function to the left button because it was to sensitive on the right.
