Try pressing up/down on the multiselector while reviewing a photo to see whether you can cycle through the different views of your photo.

If this doesn't do it, please reply to this post specifying the model of your Nikon camera.

If you own a D-model, its probably very simple: Just hit the four way controller on the back up and down, with a photo present on the display, and it will cycle between the four visualization modes.
Hope it solves your problem.
Sincerely John

How to make a histogram

A histogram on what? If you want to see a histogram on your camera, the camera must have the possibility to do so. For that check the manual. When you use a program like Adobe PS or LR, they show you the histogram in levels and curves.

Histogram image

Press the up or down arrows on the multi-function selector button on the back of the camera to cycle through the various display functions until you get the one you want. The histogram display usually shows when you have unintentionally pressed one of the arrow buttons accidentally.

RGB Histogram will not turn off.

It's not hard... I had the same problem, but I found this solution on the internet and it worked.
First turn on the camera and press the play button.
You are now viewing your picture with the histogram.
Use the same joystick looking kind of button that you use to scroll left and right through the pictures, but instead of going left and right, go UP OR DOWN. That scrolls through the different display settings.

Hope that helps!
