I've just bought the Elonex Web book lap top and when i got it home i charged it up and then turned it on but the touch pad/mouse doesn't respond to my finger. The up and down keys work andd so does enter key but i can't move to cursor atall. Do you think it's faulty of is there a lock on the touch pad or something? Emily email- foxyfalah@hotmail.com

Mouse quit working on my Lap Top it is a Aspire

First of all check whether the touch pad is lock (Fn+F7(?)). If you use an external mouse/ usb mouse, check usb cable connection, as long as you didn't drop it on the floor it should be ok. If the built in touch pad doesn't work, could be caused by ribbon cable connectivity that has dirt or moist. To fix it need to open the upper case

My laptop computer is okey except that the touch command for the cursor is not responding, if i use a mouse thru the usb port then its alright..why does the touch command for the cursor not responding?

Touch pads are not very reliable. I have seen a lot fail.
A computer repair person will need to replace it for you.
My advice is to stick with a USB mouse. Or if it is under warranty, take advantage of that warranty.
Best of luck.

Have a problem with my mouse pad on my laptop

GO into your mouse properties in the control panel and make sure you have the touchpad mouse turned on. This is a link that should give you any drivers you need.

Go into your controll pannel then click on mouse. On the mouse properties click on Touch Pad, then you can change the settings for sensitivity of the touch for double clicking with the touch pad.

Laptop touchpad HELP!!!!

Go to your manufacturer website download driver as per your 'Service tag no.' (which you can find on back of lap).
And install.
But before installation goto Start->control panel -> mouse -> Device Settings and make your touch-pad enabled.
If you got this rightway, then need not to download driver click on ok and enjoy. In other case you have to download driver and re-install it. Before re-installation please un-install the previous driver if you have any.

Thanks
iqbal
