Question about LG Electronic Window Air Conditioner
Well, the good news is it could be the control board or the capacitor. The bad news is the last time I had this problem with a window unit it was the compressor. You'll need to check the the control board, specifically the cover over it to make make sure none of the buttons are sticking which means you need to remove the front cover, then remove the 3 screws (Mine has three but there are several models of this), and remove the cover so you can see the contacts. These models use a soft touch panel that have metal contacts on the cover that activate the buttons with they make contact with the board and are prone to sticking. If everything is clean under the cover then consider the capacitor and the compressor.
