Banks and Non-Banking Financial Companies use the following formula to calculate EMI of a home loan. This is the formula for calculating compound interest. Applying the same formula for a home loan of Rs 90Lakhs, we get,

EMI = [P x R x (1+R)^N]/[(1+R)^N-1]

Where,

P= Amount borrowed- Here, it will be 90 lakhs

R= Rate of interest per month

N= Number of months in the home loan tenure

Going by the current lending rates followed by the financial institutions, we will consider R to be 9% per annum (to be converted to % per month) and for the loan tenure, we will take 20 years/240 months.

Substituting all values in the above formula, the home loan EMI comes out to be Rs 80,975 per month.

You can easily calculate the EMI for your home loan for any bank or NBFC using a free online Home Loan EMI calculator. You can also find this handy tool on the online portals of most banks and NBFCs. All you have to do is feed in the values in the respective fields and receive the answers.

The Casio FX-300MS does not provide base 2 logarithms as a single key operation. However, you can use the natural logarithm (ln, base e = 2.7182818...) and the formula

What the function will do is subtract 14KW from the total Kilowattage and add the amount for the first 14KW then subtract 85KW from the total KW and add the amount for the 85KW. But once you subtract the number of KW from the total make sure to check if the total KW isn't negative, if so just break out of the function and return the total due.

Or if you have formula for how much the rate grows over how many miles.

For example lets say the rate grows by $1 every time the KW doubles you could have something like

int amount; //total amount they have to pay

the formulae for the surface area of round disc is

pi * r * r

where pi=3.14 and r =radious of disc= diametre/2

for this 1st u have 2 calculate the radious of the disc that is

180/2=90mm

then convert it to m by dividing 1000 ,so radious=90/1000=0.09 m

finally calculate the area= 3.14 * 0.09 * 0.09=0.025434 sq metres

for 38 disc multiply 38 with the above area that is

0.025434 * 38=0.966492 sq metres

in excel 2007 u can do it more easily by going 2 formulas tab.

Under formla tab click on engineering formula and then convert
