When I start my notebook(boot up) about the time it finish I get a SQL pop up that says Quote your SQL server is corrupt or has been messed with could not open SQLEVN70.RLL delete and rerun setup that should solve the problem. I did that it didn't work.

Click on START
Click on Control Panel
Click on Administrative Tools
Click on Services
Right Click on SQLagent$MICROSOFTBCM
Click on Properties
Where is says "Startup Type" change to "Disable"
Click Apply
Re-Boot
if this is not working u shud just restore ur computer to an earlier date

or just uninstall the sql server

Try doing a system restore to an earlier date, this should fix the problem.

    Chose a date before you started having this problem and do System restore.

    To do system restore go to:


    • Start Menu

    • Programs

    • Accessories

    • system tools

    • System restore

    • Follow the wizard.

Please reinstall the SQL server program

use your original set up file

    if your set up file does not work then download another one from net and fix this problem.

SQL 2008 R2 - MASTER.LDF corrupted without backup


Try this one solution...

1. First Shutdown SQL Server
2. Then move the current database file/rename (do not touch the .ldf)
3. After rename/move db, restart SQL Server
4. Create a new database with same name and log file and location also same
5. Stop SQL Server

Forgot SQL Server SA password. How to reset user password to login SQL Server?


When SA password for SQL Server logon forgot, please take SQL Password Genius to install it on computer.

Step 1: Run SQL Password Genius full version and browse Master.mdf file to import into it.

Step 2: Select SA user and click "Reset" button.
After master database file imported into SQL Password Genius, you would see all user in list. SA password is unknown. Select SA account and click "Reset" button.

A new window would pop up, type new password for SA account in it. And click "OK". Instantly, SA password is changed successfully. SA password lists in software screen.

Step 3: Close SQL Password Genius and restart SQL Server Services.

SQL Server services influence SQL password reset on computer. So we stop it before using SQL Password Genius. Now, when you finish SQL SA password reset, restart SQL Server Services to run SQL Server with SA account.

SQL SERVER 2000


Perform following steps to recover sql server database:
  • Create a database with same size that you are trying to recover
  • Shutdown the SQL server
  • Swap old mdf file with new mdf file
  • Start the SQL server
  • Database may go in suspect
  • Set database in emergency mode
  • Run DBCC CHECKDB with repair_allow_data_loss to repair database


USE [master]
GO
ALTER DATABASE [RdmStoreInformation] SET EMERGENCY
GO
ALTER DATABASE [RdmStoreInformation] SET SINGLE_USER
GO
DBCC CHECKDB ([RdmStoreInformation], REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS)
GO
ALTER DATABASE [RdmStoreInformation] SET MULTI_USER
GO
ALTER DATABASE [RdmStoreInformation] SET ONLINE


It may result some data loss. If you don't want to lose any single data then use 3rd party SQL repair software from Stellar Phoenix.
