Iframe isn't working properly in IE8, the width is cutting the iframe in the middle even though inside the adminpanel.

In IE8 there is a new button called "compatibility" near the address bar just click it, and everything works fine.

Error 501 insecure response in google chrome

Error 501 (net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE): Unknown error is an error you get in chrome when you view a page with an iframe that loads a HTTPS page with an invalid SSL certificate. If you find HTTPS page on the same domain that is not in an iframe you will get the standard red page saying the site is unsafe. If you click procceed the page will load as normal. You can now go back to the page with the iframe and browse normally.

How to remove OR hide the Blogger Navbar from your Weblog

I am a serial blogger and even though I sometimes follow other peoples blogs using the navbar I don't really like to see it on my blogs.

This is a simple and easy way to hide it from which ever browser you are using all you need to do is add these lines of HTML;

#navbar {
height: 0px;
visibility: hidden;
display: none;

First goto your Weblog Dashboard and click on Design and Edit HTML as shown

This will bring up the template template editor for you to enter the code see the example the shown below you need to add the HTML code that is shown in blue below the Blogger Template style

If you are unsure about what might happen then I suggest that you backup the template prior to the change and also open the preview in another tab

Sometimes you might see #navbar-iframe already in the template if this is the case this is not a problem it just means that the template that you are using has the navbar in an iframe OR internal frame it will still work fine just hide the entire iframe using these two lines of HTML.

#navbar-iframe {
display: none;

You may want to consider using another browser for default I use Firefox Browser for all my Internet needs. IE8 has gotten better however it has more billboard and ads as well as pops all from their advertising paid clients. It is intrusive and many problems occur with using IE8. Many have fled over this way to another browser you can try it and see if you like it. Click Here download it and set it to default. This may give you some relief I know it has worked for me I have been using this browser for over 4 years now without a hitch. I hope that this assisted you. Also if you are going to continue to use IE make sure that you do your updates. Install flash from look for flash player. Do this as well. Important. Thanks for using FixYa! Post a good vote for me. IE8 will load up when you start to navagate to another page error pops up that it needs to close. another program has caused the problem.

If you like IE8 that's fine but I would try another browser like Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Google chrome, all are very good browsers and in my opinion far better than IE8.

Browser not supported web dynpro problem:

this error message can mean that you are using an IE8.
If so try to do this simple stpes to Change the compatibility view settings in IE8 browser.
1. In IE8 Go to menu Tools
2.Compatibility View Settings
3. Select the checkbox “Display all websites in Compatibility View”
4. click on the ‘Close’ button.
5. Close all browser sessions and then open a new browser window.

The WebDynpro runtime should now be able to allow the usage of Microsoft IE8 browser.

Farmville is not working in IE8 and I have updated Flash player, still is not working. Please help

If you are running on a 64-bit system, there is not yet a compatible flash player for ie8. There is a 64-bit ie8 available, however Farmville tends to make the browser crash. If you'd like to try that browser, it's available here:

If you are running the 32-bit windows, or you are unsure which version you have, I would recommend using Firefox. It's a faster browser, fewer crashes and your Farmville flash will work no problem. Firefox can be downloaded here:

Hope that helps. :)

Truly speaking IE8 is the worst browsers MS has ever developed (No offense but its true) I would suggest you to go back to IE 7. Moreover you can use Firefox/Opera/Chome browser. If you are looking for some light browser go for Chrome/Avant. But brfore using any of the browser roll back your IE8 to previous version because it might corrupt our windows. Hope it will help you. Thanks.

IE8 freezing/crashing

Hi there.
Don't bother with IE8 at the moment because there are too many bugs with it.
Either go back to IE7 or use mozilla firefox 3.
