2. Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click "Power" button. green led should be on

3. hold the Power button, release Resume Button.

4. Without releasing the Power Button, double click "Resume" button and then release Both Buttons.

5. Click "Resume" for four times then click "Power" button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).

Hi! I followed your direction for my Canon MX350. I think I turned the printer off too soon after step 4 and now my printer will not turn on. Help!!!! I know it has been a while since you posted this, so i'm crossing my fingers you get this.

  • Venus Jun 24, 2013

Ok got the printer working again by taking out the plug and putting it back in while holding the power button.

  • Venus Jun 24, 2013

However, printer continues to indicate low ink when it has been replaced with new cartridge.

  • Venus Jun 24, 2013

Ok got to step 5 and when I clicked on the power printer turned off! This isn't the first time I changed my cartridge, probably my 3rd time. Never had a problem till now.

printer ink level shows ink filled however, the computer says ink low. I did a test page and there is ink but when I attempted to print from the internet or word, no ink. I have a mac computer don't know if that makes much of a difference.

Canon pixma mx350 printer ink level shows exclamation mark about the icon

If you are using an ink refill kit (or buying ink that has been refilled, the ink level will not show accurately) also, if refilling yourself you must clean the pint area of the cartridge with alcohol before installation, and then run the 'clean print head' tools from you Canon menus.

I recommend buying Canon ink, at least for 1 in 4 refills to reset your ink levels.

There is no reset for ink levels. When you open the cover do the cartridge lights flash indicating the cartridge is empty. This problem can arise from using compatable cartridges. Try a set of genuine cartridges and the problem will probably be solved.
