Normally the DOUBLE SIDED printing command in located in the section where you select the paper size, type of paper, etc. It usually is under the TAB labeled PROPERTIES
If you go to the printer properties before you send it to print you should be able to choose which tray to print from. Or you can set the default tray in the print driver and then apply it to set it in as default.
Duplex printing is set in the print dialgue box.
You may have set a profile where duplex printing is automatic and the computer is defaulting to that setting.
Make sure it says "Standard" in the print dialogue box.
USB: Ensures that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.
Network:
Ensures that the network connection between your computer and your

Spooler

Print queue
: Checks for and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a log of print jobs waiting to print).
Port
: Checks the port settings for the HP product.
Driver
: Checks for alternate-driver settings.
Conflicts
: Checks for conflicts with other drivers, such as other printer brands.
Default printer
: Checks the default printer setting and prompts to select the HP product as default (optional).
it is in the copier settings. one is actually set up to automaticly do doublesided copies as a default. while the other one is only set up to do singlesided copies
first while on the main copy screen change the setting how you want the copier setup ..... double sided printing, black and white, or how ever you want your defaults to be set up
then you will need to goto the additional functions button and under copy settings you will need scroll down to the second page.
there you will want to hit the standard setting button then click the store button, then click yes... now it will default to the double sided copies.....

Double side printing is possible if you have duplex unit insstalled.Do you have duplex unit? Under printer properties there must be page setup, where you say that you want to print double sided.
You can scan over ScanGear software. Do you have it? If not you can download it from canon official site. But it works only as PULL scanner.
you copy first side normaly. then on left side open bypass deck.Put the paper, so that the side on wich you want to print is down. Automatically when you put paper in bypass, the machine ask you wich format is it ( eg. A4 ), confirm with OK, then you need to tell machine wich type of paper ( eg. plain paper ) and OK. then green copy key.
