Word 2013 the Underline feature quit working, only uses the dots one

This sounds like it may actually be a keyboard issue. try another keyboard. If the items work on say something else like note pad or on free office then you may need to download mr fixit etc to see if it can find the fault. That then may require that you re install Office.

How do i stop words being underlined when i type on hudl2

Underlining usually means there is a spelling check working in the background. The underlined words are not in the computers dictionary. Press on the word and it will list the alternatives.

Wants to know how to underline name, title etc using my pc

Not much information here, but I assume you are using a word processor such as Microsoft Word or similar. To underline text you simply select the text with your mouse by pointing top the start of the text then holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse pointer to the end of the text. The selected text should be white on a black background. Then you can press "ctrl-u" - hold down the 'ctrl' key in the bottom left of the keyboard whilst pressing the 'u' key.

This approach work in most applications on Windows that support underlining.

Underline Text in HTML b> Find or enter the text you want to underline. Place the text within a SPAN element, by adding an opening tag before the text and closing tag after. Specify underlining of the text within the SPAN by adding a STYLE attribute to it as follows:
STYLE="text-decoration; underline; " Add a CLASS attribute to the SPAN, giving the name of a CSS class which defines text underlining. This is an alternative to using the STYLE attribute as described in the preceding step. The format of the CSS class declaration is as follows:

I need to know how to underscore something.

Which program are you using to create the text or document? Microsoft Word?

If you are using microsoft word, wordpad, notepad, microsoft works, etc. if you look at the top of the window usually you will see the letters B, I, U which stand for Bold, Italicize or Underline. You can highlight text that you've already created then select the U to underline the highlited text. Or you can click the U and it will underline everything you type until you click it again.

Where do I find the bold and underline key?

It is within the word processing program not on the keyboard. Within the program there is probably a key combination that works. As an example, ctrl b generally creates bold, and ctl U underline but it depends on software not hardware to do these tricks.
Hope this information will help.

While typing in aim my laptop keyboard skips letters, randomly selects a new im, or underlines words.

Tape a double piece of paper directly over the touchpad.
(If you don't use it). It worked for me. Now I don't have to worry about accidently hitting it and making my typing skip or delete text by mistake.
