Question about Toshiba Cinevision DVD/VCR Combo

Open Question

I have a CineVision DVR 1000 Users Guide-DVD/VHS Player Model Number 3850R-Z278A____Serial Number 3351000007789__9-2003. My problem is that the Disc will not EJECT from the Player. I think that it is the rubber band that goes around the little round thing that the disc sits on. Where do I find the part for it and the INSTRUCTIONS to fix it?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My Toshiba VCR & DVD video recorder model

A temporary solution would be to use a paperclip to eject it; usually, any disk drive has a little hole that a paperclip can be stuck into which forces it to eject.

Can't record DVD's

Hello there.

As per http://www.videohelp.com/dvdrecorders/cinevision-rv4000/881
you can see that your DVD player only supports writing to DVD+R
or DVD+RW, not DVD-RW or DVD-R.

Hope this helps.

Hi I owed a Sansui VHS/DVD player. The serial number is VRDVD4001AC. I would like to request a manual for my player. Thanks Cecilia Arguello

Hello Cecilia,

It would be best if you will post the model number instead of the serial number.

Looking forward to your response.

DVDs from DVR don't play on any other DVD player

yes when you have finished the recording and preferably when the disc is full the disc must be finalised to be compatible with other players but be aware if you finalise a disc you cannot record on it anymore

Copy a vhs to a dvd on govideo dvr4200

This model is a DVD player only. It does not record to DVD's. You would need to get a model that has a DVD recorder.
