That error message signals the fact that the high tension for the magnetron is missing - an actual part inside the power source has failed. Hardware failure, so reseting would be useless.
Since the tension in that section of the power source is beyond 5000 volts you can't repair it yourself : not only you will need special components that are not available to an average customer but you will need special high voltage testing equipment to identify the failed part - only a pro repair shop will have them, you must take the oven to one of them.
And in the mean time keep the oven unplugged from the mains, otherwise the safety system might also fail with dire consequences.

When you have opened the door the safety system has kicked in and it has cut the power to the magnetron - most likely this has generated a power surge that backfired in the power source and fried it. There is a small chance that the power surge might have fried the safety system's relay so now the power source - even if it's still operational - can't deliver the power to the magnetron. To find out for sure which the oven might be opened and the power source tested. But, as i said, this can be done only by a repair shop.

The power source is a simple analogue one: transformer, capacitor, rectifying diode. Here you can find a generic manual on how to test the microwave system http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/micfaq.htm
Please remember, there is extremely high voltage there, you will need special tools for testing and to properly discharge it before working on it.

Hello
The message means that after you set the timer and pressed start to cook food the house power was interrupted and the ovens safety circuit detected the power loose and warned you that the food may not be cooked due to the power interruption.

It is very likely a power surge has burned out the central control circuit board, in most cases this cost more than price of a new oven to repair.I suggest you replace it.

I have a GE Profile XL1400 over-the range microwave which is about 12 years old. Suddenly yesterday morning the microwave would not cook the food. It turns on and runs just as it normally would, but the...

At the ripe old age of 12, the magnetron tube which makes the microwaves has most likely failed. A sudden no-heat condition is one of the most common ways they go. It's possible to replace the magnetron, but it would be an expensive repair. The tube is the most costly part, and this repair is one that should be left to a professional because of safety concerns. Between the part cost and labor, it usually more economical to replace the oven with a new one.

It is possible that something else is causing the problem, such as a failure of the control circuit board or the high-voltage power transformer. It's still not worth the repair since the 12-year old magnetron would be a failure waiting to happen. Take this opportunity to start fresh.

Microwave GE Model #JE1640WB - Makes noise when

Magnetron is done. This part heats the food. GE microwaves tend to have them stop working quite frequently. They basically make up the majority of the cost of the microwave, so instead of replacing the magnetron, you would be better off getting a new microwave.

GEJE2160 Stop Working

It probably blew the main power fuse in side the oven. This may have happen because of a failure in the microwave or a line voltage surge or what ever. Repalce the fuse and see if it work. be sure to unplug it before doing this, If this does not fix it then you have a failure in the oven some were.
good luck
