Hello
Take [+ and --] of each channel as input for Left And Right. That is take two [+] wires of two RCA wires to Left and Right channel input. Short two [-- s] together with screen and it is the common ground. Connect the two [+] wires to two end mins of 5-pin Din, ie, left and right channels input. Connect the two [--v and screen together] to 5-pin Din's center pin. It is the ground pin. If you have any doubt about the ground pin of the amp. check it with a mutimeter. Grond pin will show continuity with the chasis. OK.

Can external speakers be used with the sony cfd s 350 model? If so, do they plug into the headphone jack on top of the boombox?

There is no provision for connecting external speakers. The headphone connector is exclusively for connecting headphones.

Auxilliary audio connection

I don't expect a 2 channel amp would have a digital input such as optical. More likely you would be able to pull analog stereo (red and white RCAs) off the Panasonic and run to the JVC.

I have to connect 11 speakers in a restaurant to a 2 zone amplifier that is 500 watts per Chanel. How do I choose the power of the speakers and Which way do I wire them --- in parallel?

what size speakers and what watts, how many channels on the amp, you could do it in either way
There are two ways to wire electrical components. In parallel or in series. Both are important to understand, especially when properly hooking up speakers to amplifiers.
Parallel wiring is connecting components to a source so that they share the same voltage. To put that in a useful way, it would be connecting all of the speaker positive terminals to the positive terminal of the amplifier and connecting all of the speaker negative terminals to the negative terminal of the amplifier.
Series wiring is connecting components to a source so that they share the same current. To put that in a useful way, it would be connecting the amplifier's positive terminal to the positive terminal of the first speaker and then connecting the negative terminal of the first speaker to the positive terminal of the second speaker and so on. The final speaker in the chain will have it's negative terminal connected to the negative terminal of the amplifier. Hope it Works

On the logitech speakers, connect all the colored cables to their coordinating colors on the back of the subwoofer EXCEPT the green one..you need the special Y connector that came with the speakers. (the red, white and green little one). Connect one end of the green cable to the subwoofer, connect the other end to the Y connector. Now you just need to correct the red and white cables from your tv or dvd player into those red and white cables and MWAH!!
