On the the IPAQ 6515 and others, there is a USB Power option that you must enable to 'slow' or 'fast' charge from USB connection.

The HP IPAQ 6515 will support WLAN access via a SDIO WIFI card (which looks like a 'long' standard SD card): it is just a bit tricky to get this add-onl SDIO WIFI card to work properly!

i had same problem if you go to ebay type in hp hw 6515 unlock code i found a guy to unlock the phone for small price mine works good no very happy

need to get new battery

Try taking out battery and plug in power. If it works, battery is faulty. If not,
Try taking out your hard disk plug in power, if it works, hard disk is faulty. If not,
Try taking out memory card, if there's a sound, memory card faulty. If no sound, it's your motherboard that is causing the error.

Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.

Try soft resetting your ipaq. If that didnt work then try hard resetting it, note that you will lose all the data in your ipaq

 recharge the battery by connecting the HP iPAQ to AC power using the cradle or the AC adapter or insert a fully charged battery into the HP iPAQ.

Can you get the iPaq hooked up directly to AC power? There's apparently a charging threshhold for badly depleted batteries that the USB port cannot get over.

Hold down the POWER button and press the reset hole for approx 5 seconds, then remove stylus from reset hole first, follow by release of POWER button.
