Question about Pioneer Car Speakers & Subwoofers

1 Answer

I have a Pioneer DEHP8600MP CR Receiver. The unit will not eject a CD that is in it. I have reset the unit twice with its reset button, but to no avail it will not eject the CD. The face only partially moves, bur not enough to expose the CD slot. Do I need a new mechanism, or is there something else going wrong?

If you hear a plastic-like clicking when the face slides down its just the mechanism. cant be more than $20 or $30 on the pioneer website.

Where is the eject for cd on pioneer deh-p9200r

The Eject button is in the upper-right corner.

At the top right-hand side of the face plate/control panel you'll see the text "Mosfet 45wx4 DAB Control" in white italics. Just to the right of that is the small, round Eject button.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your stereo!

Pioneer Deh-3100 CD Player/Tuner Won't eject CD. CD spins around but can't hear it because suddenly and without warning none of the control buttons function. How to fix or remove.

This might be a shot in the dark, but there possibly is a reset. Look for a little hole, about the size of a paper clip, usually with the faceplate off. Take a straightened paper clip or reasonable facsimile and gently push into hole. If this works it will reset everything to factory and you'll lose your pre-sets etc.

I have a kenwood 719 flip out monitor and i put a cd in it and the monitor says mecha error and won't let the cd come out. It just makes a bunch of noises. I pressed the reset button but that didn't work....

You can try to push the CD in further with an object and then try ejecting (be careful not to break the CD!). Also, the soft reset button on the outside of the unit may not work, but disconnecting constant power (hard reset) may cause the CD to automatically be ejected when powered back up again. This can be done by disconnecting the negative battery terminal on the car for 15 seconds. If these don't work, visit a local Kenwood stereo dealer for service as this is a common issue with the 719 series and 819 series.

Pioneer radio/cd player

The problem has not been solved. I tried a cd cleaner, but that was also ejected immediatly. The cd player was working perfectly but gradually it began to eject certain cd's and then any cd that was inserted.

I HAVE A PIONEER CAR CD RECEIVER DEH-P400 SERIES AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SET THE CLOCK.

  1. Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit shuts off.
  2. Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears. With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
  3. Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
  4. Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
  5. Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

Have an ALPINE CDA 7995 that won't eject CD - looking for possible suggestions without having to pull the deck

It should have a reset button on the display, try pressing thatin with a paperclick, toothpick, or something small enough to get into that tiny little switch. If if does not have a reset switch try disconnecting the harness on the back of the radio for just a few seconds and then plug it back in. Once the unit resets, the cd player should initialize and eject the disc.
If this does not work you will need to take it in for service at a repair center. Alpines are very good stereos and worth getting fixed.

I have a cd stuck in my kenwood kvt 719 head unit and the touch screen controls for the dvd are not appearing.

Have you tried hitting the "Reset" button on the head unit?

The procedure is on page 7 of the owner's manual under the heading "How to reset your unit"

Here's the URL for the Owner's Manual:
http://inform3.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/KVT-719DVD.pdf

Per the owner's manual, you're supposed to call Kenwood technical support if the display doesn't correctly reset or come back on and/or if the disc won't eject.
