First check to see that you have enough hydraulic fluid in the resevoir and that the right side hydraulic pump is not leaking....there is the possibility that the lever that controls the right side is slipping on the shaft where it connects to the pump causing this condition...if you have the manual the mower came with ..you need to go to the procedure for bleeding the air out of the pump....if it is not in the manual, you can call a dealer for the instructions or order a service manual....if all the above does not fix the problem... then you may need to get a rebuild kit for the hydraulic pump...these are not too expensive..but they beat buying a new pump as pumps are anywhere from 400-700 dollars

Any idea where to find the hydraulic fluid resevoir on the Z5426? My local dealer doesn't even know how to check the hydraulic fluid, and I can't find anything that looks promising.
    Thanks.

sealed resevoir cannot check. Check the hub lug on the axel. It might be loose and the splines are not catching

Where is the horn(s) located on a 1999 buick lesabre custom?

It doesn't matter where you "hit" the steering wheel, both horns are wired to sound at the same time. You could have a defective horn relay, but more likely you have defective horn(s). Oh, and you'll find the horns under the hood somewhere adjacent to the engine

Ignition key will not turn.

This happens to me sometimes because the pressure of the steering lock is enough to keep me from being able to turn the key. Try moving the steering wheel while turning the key, if that doesn't work, flip the key over and try again (unless it is a one sided key), if that doesn't work, then you are likely looking at a bad lock cylinder and it will have to be replaced.

My 2000 escalade has begun pullg sharply to the right whe the steering wheel is held loosely. The tire are aligned properly and there is not vibration at any speed.

I would start looking at brake issues

If you haven't taken them apart in a year or more,
start there

A real noticable pull to one side, doesn't telll me
that alignment is okey

I had to replace the horn cancelling switch on my 1986 Chevy truck. No tilt. I got the wheel and locking ring off, replaced the part and now I can't get the lock ring back on all the way. I've got...

Hi, been there, done that--the likely cause is the bearing slipping out the other end of the column. Go in the engine compartment and push it back in and have someone hold it in while you compress the plate spring.

Clutch doesn't engage until lever is almost all the way out. How do I adjust the engagement point?

If you've run out of adjustment on the lever, try the other end at the clutch cover (near your right knee when sat on it)

The left side of the toaster does not stay engaged...if I hold it down it heats up but it doesn't stay down ..it doesn't catch.

There are two printed circuit boards inside front of toaster - One PC board for each side. The circuit board on the side that won't latch down in the "toasting" position , is defective. Now, does anyone have access to a schematic for this toaster?

I was mowing and all of a sudden it stopped steering. The front left wheel moves when I move the steering wheel. The front right doesn't. I can move the front right without moving the steering...

Sounds like the tie rod has came loose or broke, look for a rod that connects the working wheel to the steering and then compare it to the non working side and you will be able to see what is missing

Car has Tilt Steering and has play, you can take the wheel and move it about an inch up, down, left, right. My buddy owns a shop looked at it and said it should be safe. He can't fix it until he comes...

The problem doesn't sound like it's in the tilt mechanism. The tilt mechanism wouldn't cause it to have side to side movement. Chack everything holding the steering column itself.

Steering wheel will only turn slightly in either direction, can't turn the key either way it is a 2000 Chrysler Voyager

most cars have a steering lock that engages when you turn off the car. If you try wiggling the wheel while you turn the key, that might free up your steering. If just wiggling it a little does not work, try pulling it one way and turning the key, giving it a little force turning the wheel (sometimes the wheel locking mechanism gets stuck) ... if it still doesn't work, try turning the wheel the other way and turning the key. If you are still locked up .. you'll probably need to see a mechanic about it. Hopefully the wheel lock is just a little stuck and you can free it up yourself -- it's free that way :-)
