Husqvarna k750 partner starts and runs fine up to limiter but will only idle for a few seconds then dies

I had a saw with a similar problem. I beleive you need a new carberator. I changed mine and my saw never ran so good. I think from all the vibration all the shafts/bushings have wore and now air is being sucked in from too many unwanted places keeping enough vacume to **** the gas out of the carb bowl.

Looking for the intial setting for the 2 screws on side of carb on k750

Hi, most, if not all chainsaws start with both hi and low screws set at 1 and 1/4 turns out, but when you turn the screws in, don't turn them tight-soft metal! Mark the screwdriver and turn them out , once chainsaw started the high speed screw can be turned in one eighth. The tickover is turned in just enough that sounds right and the clutch isn't engaged!

Partner k650 wont start when warm

This is a pretty common carb issue, the needle in the carb is leaking, if dirt has been throgh it then the needle seat will be worn, the only answer to this is a new carb unfortunatly.

Are you sure you pump in the unit properly? Some carbs have the gasket against the carb body and some have the pump next to the body. Also check the needle valve for proper operation, and dirt.
