Question about Computers & Internet
Hi you can change your wi-fi password by logging onto the wi-fi router.
Some times you can reset the router by pressing in the reset button found on the router for 10-20 seconds this will then change all your setting back to default. The default wireless passwords can normally be found the manufacture website, ISP website or at the bottom of the router depending on the model.
To do this you will need to connect you computer/laptop to the router with a Ethernet cable that way you do not need to use the wi-fi. Once this has been done you are required to enter your router IP address depending on the model of the router it normally 192.168.?.? (? indicates an number) (This can normally be found on the manufacture website or in the manual).
Once you have done that you are ask for a log-in and password as-long has this has not be changed you can normally find the default password and user name in the manual.
You can then change the password though the interface you will reclive once you have done the above.

If you forget the username or password, or if the configuration becomes really messed up, you can always clear all the non-volitile parameters by doing a 'factory reset'. To do this, with the router already fully booted, press and hold the reset button for 5~6 seconds and release. The router will boot back up and answer to 192.168.1.1 just as if it had just been flashed with DD-WRT.
