Question about HP OfficeJet Pro L7580 InkJet Printer

1 Answer

My HP Officejet Pro L7580 All-in-one printer appears to need its feed rollers cleaned because when I print pages on both sides, I find side 1 comes out with about six dirty bands down the page, each approx 1.5 cm wide. Any suggetions how I can fix this would be welcome. Thanks.

Use tissue paper to try and clean as mush off as you can. Surgical alcohol may do the trick as a solvent. It's either the roller or the guide wheels that help feed the paper through the printer that have come to ink that are causing the lines.

Try and get to them without taking the printer apart, as it can be a complecated affair. However if it is the only way, be sure to place the screws in a screw divider and don't rush. Go slowly and take photos of the disassembly as you go.

Another option is to get a printer technician to do it for you.

Take care!

I have network printer with scanner. Model is hp officejet pro L7580 printer. I installed a printer sucessfully but I want to use printer scanner. So how to install scanner & use it?

Hello!
In order to install your scanner, you need to print a test page. As you need to align the cartridges, you also need to align your scanner. See the printed alignment page for directions on how to complete the alignment process. Basically, all you have to do is put the test page in the scanner and press scan.

Voucher checks not printing correctly HP C7280 AIO

The front of your voucher check is smoother than normal paper or the rear of thr voucher. Cleaning the feed rollers should fix this problem. If you do not know how to clean the rollers, you need to take the printer for a service.

The paper won't advance enough to print in our HP officejet 7580

Look for little pieces of paper that get stuck in the rollers, also verify that the gears and roller didn't get misaligned when you cleared the jam.
