Question about LG Dishwashers
E1 means that there is water leakage from hose connection, or that there is leakage because one part is broken. In simpler words it means that the machine detects incorrect pressure and amount of water because of a fault or because of incorrect hose settings.
Disconnect power. Check the plastic hose on the side.
Clean drain. Check the drain hose settings. Ensure that the drain hose is at the height specified on manual. Do a test running a cycle with the drain hose down in the bucket.
If hoses are OK, then problem can be hoses and seals connected to the motor. If seals are OK, then the motor must be replaced. Motor and seals are located behind the kick panel at the base of the appliance.
