I have an HP Desktop a6430f model purchased in the US (110V) and bringing it to Asia (220V). How do I safely use the desktop in Asia? Do I need to purchase a converter, or is there a switch that will allow it work with 220V?

Machine was purchased in USA what is a power supply?

USA standard is 110v. You need a "power adapter" to transform your 220v to 110v. Most US purchased electronics do not have switchable voltage.

I bought a rotary hammer drill from Asia 220V/60Hz & I want to use this in Canada 110V/60Hz Can I use Step down transformerconverter available in amazon or ebay?

Yes you can.
Make sure the transformer is rated for more power than the drill label states so that you don't burn up the transformer if you stick the drill bit.
For instance, if the drill is rated for 5 amps at 230 volts you should get a 1500 watt transformer. 230 x 5= 1150 watts; the next common size up is 1500 watts. You don't want an 1200 watt if it is available.
Transformers are also rated in KVA [Killovolt-amps] so the same transformer would be 1.5 KVA.
Do the math for your drill and save future problems. If a transformer doesn't have a rating with real numbers, avoid it. There are lots of really cheap ones on the market that you will regret buying.

Logitech z515 power US is 110V - israel is 220V - is US to EU plug adapter sufficient to use in Israel ?

No you cannot as 220v will damage the 110v the Logitech. You need a stepdown transformer to reduce the voltage from 220v to 110v. and then you can safely plug the Logitech into this stepdown transformer.

I like to use my pair of Yamaha HS50 (US model) in Asia. The problem is, it only takes 110V. The voltage in Asia is 220V. What should I do?

Search for a step-down transformer, like the one linked -

http://www.220-electronics.com/Transformers/trans/stepdown.htm

Double the transformer watt rating for best performance. This particular link appears to be one- outlet per transformer.

I wanted to purchase a Bose companion 3 set from the US through ebay. i wanted to know whether they work on 220V and if not how can I make them work at 220V.

Since this unit dose not come with power adaptor. It has direct plug in in to the port behind the sub-woofer unit and other end to the wall outlet. Is there any way to convert the power supply from UK to US (220v to 110v). For example Desktop PCs have a switch behind every desktop unit to change power from 110v to 220v or vise versa.
Anyone has any idea how to make this happen in Bose Companion 3 system.
I bought it from UK and now moved to US and I want it to work in US.
othervise use waltage adapter to use it

Europowre pmp 3000 a120v or 220v?

There is a jumper (JP1 or J1). If you cut that jumper, the mixer will operate for 220V. This power supply is the same with the ones used in desktop computers. I did that to my mixer bought from US made for 110v. I replaced that jumper with a switch (from a desktop power supply), I made a whole and I fixed the switch on the pack panel of the mixer. So now, I can switch it manually for 110v or 220v. It's working perfectly. I tested it for long time and no problems. Good luck.
PS. I called the Behringer technical support in the US and they weren't able to teach me that. So I figured it out myself after a big research. See the pictures about my project. :)
