Rather than give you a long screed about the cartridge replacement, if you go to this webpage, it is a manual for your printer in pdf format which you can save to your computer for future reference:

The relevant page of the manual for changing cartridges is page 93 of the manual. This refers to the "ink cartridge access door". If it is not obvious where this on the printer when you look at it, then page 13 of the manual shows you where it is.

Paper is jammed. Don't know how to get it out. (Can't find manual).

Steps to resolve Paper Jam issue

1. Disconnected the power cord from back of printer.
2. Open the Rear Access Door.
3. check if there is any paper piece stuck in rollers.
4. Clean the rollers using link free cloth ( wipe rollers in same way the paper is rolled [ wipe upwards )
5. Close the rear access door
6. Open the front access door
7. Check for any paper stuck in carriage rod
8. Close the front access door.

Please remove all the paper's from paper try and re-stack the tray, make sure the papers are free and does not has moisture. Please the paper in tray

9. Connect the power cord back and power on the printer.

This should fix the issue.

Hi i got 49.4co1 and 49.5001 error on my printer. my printer model is hp laserjet p3005n. Please help


The P3005 is known to have problems with a chip on the formatter, gives various errors to include the 49.2d9d, blank display and others. HP has not issued a recall or service advisory but is fully aware of failure of the chip on the formatter. Repair for this is to print a configuration page, replace the formatter board, bring the machine back up in service mode and put in the correct serial, service code and page counts into the new formatter's nvram memory.

Liberty Parts Team at lbrty.com has refurbished formatters at reasonable pricing with no return core to worry about. The PIN needed to access the service mode is 10300506.

Other problems with the P3005 are grinding in the fuser area, correctable by removal of the fuser, replacement of the 4 accessable gears in the side (left as you look into the back) and the main gear on the fuser then put the fuser back in and should be good.

Service manual available for free at feedroller.com - down the left navigation bar near the bottom is an icon and link to service manuals in PDF. No need to make someone on ebay rich selling copyrighted pdfs.

Hi Switch on the printer give a print job and open the panel the head comes to the centre and then you can remove.

Hi Pascal,

This looks to me like if the "fax" portion of the All-in-One was engaged.
Please try unplugging the telephone cable at the back of the printer.

Turn the printer off and then remove the power cable.
Leave it like this fro 10 seconds.

Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer “on”.
The message should have disappeared.
Now reconnect you telephone cable.

This might have happened if the printer “answered” te phone line and fro some reason it didn’t hang up.
